Quavo Well Now Saweetie is explaining what happened, and it’s pretty scandalous. During a recent interview, Saweetie explained what happened. She told the podcaster, that Quavo accused her of cheating out of the blue. “[Quavo] couldn’t believe that I had a platonic relationship with [a male] childhood friend,” Saweetie explained. “He started cussing me out and said, I would never do this to you,” the gorgeous rapper added. Quavo then offered up his phone to prove his loyalty. And he even gave Saweetie his code. That was a big mistake. More details from a disturbing new lawsuit, claim that Kanye West had a “s** room” in Yeezy headquarters, where he held daytime freakoffs with staff. The lawsuit was filed by a former model and employee named Lauren Pisciotta. Pisciotta stopped working for Kanye in Nov. 2022, after she ran into Kanye and his wife Bianca at a Post Malone concert in California. She alleged that when they met, Kanye reportedly grabbed her by the throat, inserted his tongue in her ear, and said: “I always knew what I would do to you if I ever saw you again.” Pisciotta claimed that Bianca stood beside him, seemingly “unfazed” by the encounter. The scathing lawsuit lawsuit also includes accusations of Kanye West drugging and raping his ex-assistant at a P Diddy party. While the rapper has not publicly addressed the allegations, Kanye refuted the claims in Pisciotta’s original complaint which was later amended with additional details. His legal counsel labeled them as “baseless” in a statement given to TMZ and accused Pisciotta of “blackmail and extortion.” Pisciotta alleged in the court papers Kanye had a “makeshift bedroom” in his office complete with a mattress, pillow, and blanket. Election Week chaos wasn’t limited to the polls according to viral videos of teen Trump supporters swarming their school with racist rioting. FOX 11 LA reports Black students and a teacher at Beverly Hills High School are calling out racism that allegedly turned their school into a battleground. Some just had Trump apparel.” If that wasn’t enough, one student reportedly tried to open her classroom door, leaving Ivory and her students shaken. “I said I wasn’t going to open the door, and one of [my] students said they looked like the KKK,” Ivory added. Black Students Speak Out: “A Nightmare All Week” Fox 11 states that a school board hearing was held after the recent incident. During the session, students didn’t hold back when describing their experiences. “From 8:30 to 2:30, all week being in school felt like a nightmare. Being stormed, being called the N-word… Being shunned, all because you were Black became the normal,” said Jurnee, a Beverly Hills senior. Another student spoke about what he saw in the weeks leading up to the election. “I’ve seen slurs scrawled across the walls of our bathrooms. Hateful rhetoric being spoken across the hall, and violent behavior toward Miss Bella and our club,” said Alexander, a Beverly Hills student. District Responds But Doubts Linger In response to the chaos, the Beverly Hills Unified School District issued a statement promising action. “We remain deeply committed to upholding a secure and conscientious setting where students can responsibly and considerately engage in the democratic process,” said the district. Officials say the district is investigating the claims, including a controversial cell phone recording posted online from Ivory’s classroom. Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a health emergency during his sermon on Sunday, and his daughter is offering an update.   On Sunday, November 24 while delivering a sermon at The Potter’s House Church in Dallas, Jakes abruptly stopped as his body started shaking. Multiple people rushed out to help him, leaving those who saw the incident to wonder what happened. After the incident, a video of the moment quickly went viral on social media leaving people up in arms as they speculated that he may have had a stroke. Just one day later, Bishop T.D. The family of Ajike Owens, a Marion County woman who was fatally shot by her neighbor in 2023, has called for the maximum sentence for Susan Lorincz. Source: Marion County Sheriff’s Office / Ben Crump Lorincz is scheduled to be sentenced today, Monday, Nov. 25, at 1:30 p.m. Owens was shot through Lorincz’s front door following a confrontation between the two women over an alleged dispute involving Owens’ children. According to WFTV Orlando, Owens had gone to Lorincz’s apartment to discuss an incident in which Lorincz reportedly threw a skate at Owens’ children and yelled racial slurs while they played in a field near Lorincz’s home. Lorincz claimed self-defense but was charged and later convicted of manslaughter with a weapon. Her guilty verdict marked what Owens’ family called an “important step” toward justice. Family Calls for Maximum Sentence Owens’ family emphasized the need for full accountability for Lorincz’s actions in a statement released ahead of the sentencing. “As we approach the sentencing of Susan Lorincz, our family remains focused on justice for Ajike,” the family said in the statement. “The jury’s guilty verdict of manslaughter with a weapon was an important step, but we now look to the court to follow that decision with the maximum penalty under the law.” The family also addressed the importance of standing against racial violence in the court’s decision. “We believe that standing on the right side of history requires holding those who commit racial violence fully accountable for their actions. Jay-Z appears to be sending the message that he is not all talk when it comes to his dedication to standing for social justice.   Earlier this week, Team Roc, the Hip Hop icon’s social justice wing of his Roc Nation entertainment company, filed a lawsuit against the Kansas City Police Department and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, alleging that the city violated public records laws by failing to “timely produce” law enforcement records related to allegations of police abuse and misconduct spanning decades. According to NBC News, Team Roc partnered up with the Midwest Innocence Project to file the lawsuit on Tuesday in Wyandotte County District Court. The suit essentially states that Kansas City officials have had a whole year to release documents related to complaints leveled at current and former detectives and officers since Roc Nation submitted a records request in November 2023 and it hasn’t done so. “For decades, communities in Kansas City, Kansas — particularly minority and immigrant communities — have been subjected to an alarming pattern of abuse and other serious misconduct by the KCKPD,” the filing states. “Rather than promoting a culture of transparency and accountability, the KCKPD has a long history of turning a blind eye to (at best) and even covering up (if not worse) abusive and/or corrupt conduct by its officers.” The suit insists that law enforcement and other city authorities have “stonewalled” the plaintiffs for almost a year and that those plaintiffs have found out the hard way that justice can be costly, and they’ve been paying the costs with no substantial return on their investments.   From NBC:  As part of its request under the Kansas Open Records Act, the plaintiffs said they were initially charged $2,200 in fees, which they agreed to pay. But to date, according to the plaintiffs, the 225 documents provided are mostly personnel locator records showing officer shifts and assignments and a smaller handful consisting of training materials and department policies. There has not been one document related to “any complaint or investigation into even a single instance of misconduct by any member of the KCKPD,” as requested, the suit says. The city’s police force has come under scrutiny over allegations of corruption and civil rights violations in recent years. Activists have called for a broader federal investigation, particularly in light of the alleged abuses under former Kansas City police Det. Roger Golubski, who in September 2022 was charged with federal civil rights crimes after he was accused of exploiting Black women for sex and framing people for crimes they say they did not commit. Team Roc’s managing director, Dania Diaz, told NBC that her team made 16 requests for personnel documents, and of those 16, they have only received three, and even those paltry requests weren’t delivered in a reasonable amount of time under the law. “This filing is because human beings with badges have betrayed the public’s trust … That type of behavior must be held to a standard, Diaz said” NBC noted that there are certain documents that are exempt from the law granting public requests for review. Those exemptions include “personnel information of public employees and criminal investigation records.” (So, basically, you can request info on crooked cops, as long as you don’t need info on crooked cops or info pertaining to criminal investigations of crooked cops. Maybe you can request their favorite color? IDK.) Regardless of the exemptions, plaintiffs claimed the unified government denied its request in “broad, undifferentiated strokes,” and “failed to distinguish between records relating to pending and closed investigations and failed to acknowledge that virtually all legitimate privacy concerns could be resolved through redactions.” They claim they were told that if they paid what they were instructed to pay, they would receive “extensive” and “voluminous” amounts of information, but, instead, they got the bare minimum, if that. “More important, the Unified Government’s blanket assertion about ‘unfounded allegations’ is insufficient and reveals the heart of the problem when the public trust in law enforcement is broken,” the suit says. The lawsuit is requesting that a judge intervene and order all requested records to be produced within 30 days. It’s almost as if the so-called “justice system” works damn hard to protect cops from accountability by throwing built-in hurdles at anyone seeking justice. Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend has dismissed her federal lawsuit against the actor. After accusing Majors of assault and defamation, Grace Jabbari dropped the federal lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend on Thursday, Nov. 21, reports Variety. In Dec. 2023, the former Marvel Cinematic Universe star was convicted of two misdemeanor counts for assaulting Jabbari in the back seat of a rideshare vehicle. Majors was found guilty on two misdemeanor charges: assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, for which he was sentenced to 52 weeks of a domestic violence intervention program and probation. Throughout the trial, the Creed III star maintained his innocence. In March, Jabbari sued her ex, alleging that he defamed her by continuing to maintain that he had “never laid [his] hands on a woman” after the guilty verdict in an interview with Good Morning America. Jabbari sued Majors in federal court, alleging defamation, malicious prosecution, assault, and battery. In the court papers, she alleges that her ex-boyfriend physically abused her many other times throughout their nearly two-year relationship, the first time being in July 2022. She went on to allege that since the actor was convicted in December, he continually attacked her reputation. “When publicly confronted with Grace’s numerous allegations of abuse, Majors has called her a liar at every turn,” the complaint reads, according to NBC News. The suit went on to say that Majors was doing his best to “convinc[e] the world that Grace is not a victim of domestic abuse but instead a crazy liar.” In response to the lawsuit, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, told the outlet that they were anticipating the filing. “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari,” Chaudhry reportedly said in an email at the time. On Thursday, attorneys for both parties filed a joint notice with the court stating that “all claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice,” according to reports from Variety.
